About the artwork
This calligraphy is an original artwork created on commission, shaped through a unique calligraphic gesture.
It begins with a quiet exchange: a word, a sentence, an intention entrusted to the artist. The text is not illustrated; it is inhabited. The movement of the hand, the rhythm of the line, and the surrounding silences give each calligraphy a singular presence, impossible to reproduce. Even when the same text is commissioned, the line is never repeated.
Each artwork is bound to the moment of its creation and to the relationship established with its future recipient. This is not decorative personalization, but an artistic act: a text carried through gesture, inscribed into matter, and then offered.
This calligraphy is created as a single, one-of-a-kind piece, existing only through this commission.
Creation process
The creation of this calligraphy follows a deliberately limited exchange process, designed to preserve the integrity of the gesture and the artwork.
After the order is placed, an initial exchange allows the text, intention, and context of the creation to be clarified.
Up to four exchanges maximum may take place during the process.
These exchanges are not intended as a revision loop, but as a framework for dialogue: a necessary resonance before the execution of the artwork.
Once the calligraphic gesture has been made, the artwork is considered complete.
No further modifications are possible, as the line is bound to the moment of its creation. This framework is an integral part of the artistic process.
Artwork & postcards
The artwork is accompanied by its reproduction in the form of postcards, issued in 50 copies.
These cards discreetly extend the artwork, allowing its trace to circulate without compromising its uniqueness. Each postcard is delivered with its envelope and an adhesive wax seal, extending the gesture of the artwork into an act of sending, transmission, or keeping. These cards are intended to share the acquisition of the artwork in an exclusive manner, introducing it to a select circle of privileged recipients.
They are not sold separately and are exclusively associated with the original artwork.

À propos de l’œuvre
Cette calligraphie est une œuvre originale, réalisée sur commande, issue d’un geste calligraphique unique. Elle naît d’un échange discret : un mot, une phrase, une intention confiée à l’artiste.
Le texte n’est pas illustré : il est habité. Le mouvement de la main, le rythme du trait et les silences qui l’entourent font de chaque calligraphie une présence singulière, irréductible à toute reproduction. Même lorsqu’un même texte est confié, le tracé ne se répète jamais.
Chaque œuvre est liée à l’instant de son exécution et à la relation établie avec son futur destinataire. Il ne s’agit pas d’une personnalisation décorative, mais d’un acte artistique : un texte traversé par le geste, inscrit dans la matière, puis confié.
Cette calligraphie est réalisée en un seul exemplaire et n’existe qu’à travers cette commande.
Procédé de création
La création de cette calligraphie se fait à travers un processus d’échange volontairement limité, afin de préserver la justesse du geste et l’intégrité de l’œuvre. Après la commande, un premier échange permet de préciser le texte, l’intention et le contexte de la création. Jusqu’à quatre échanges maximum peuvent avoir lieu au cours du processus. Ces échanges ne constituent pas un aller-retour de corrections, mais un cadre de dialogue :
une mise en résonance, nécessaire avant l’exécution de l’œuvre.
Une fois le geste calligraphique posé, l’œuvre est considérée comme achevée.
Aucune modification ultérieure n’est possible, le tracé étant lié à l’instant de sa création. Ce cadre fait partie intégrante du travail artistique.
Œuvre & cartes
L’œuvre est accompagnée de sa reproduction sous forme de cartes postales, éditées en 50 exemplaires.
Ces cartes constituent une extension discrète de l’œuvre : une manière d’en faire circuler la trace, sans en altérer l’unicité.
Chaque carte est livrée avec son enveloppe et un sceau à la cire adhésif, prolongeant le geste de l’œuvre dans un acte d’envoi, de transmission ou de conservation.
Ces cartes ont vocation à partager de manière exclusive l’acquisition de l’œuvre, en la faisant connaître auprès d’un cercle restreint de personnes choisies.
Elles ne sont pas proposées à la vente séparément et sont exclusivement associées à l’œuvre originale.
