M-A is an artist & author whose work is shaped by literature, travel, encounters & lived experience.
She holds a PhD in contemporary Russian literature (focused on Gulag) & has lived and worked in Ukraine as an academic and project manager, before supporting Ukraine through cultural and fundraising initiatives across Europe, Canada & the US.
A translator and audiovisual adapter specialised in subtitling for the TV, she is also a calligrapher, poet, painter, photographer and researcher.

Her work is nourished by spirituality, forgotten forms of dissent, and profound life experiences, and offers words of care, love and hope — each creation carrying the quiet presence of something invisible and light-filled.
